Position: Sourcing Specialist

Location: Rzeszów

Essential Functions / Responsibilities:

Work with Global Category Leaders on Global Strategies implementation
The Indirect Sourcing Specialist is responsible for defined work or projects with moderate complexity. In this role you will follow an individual work plan, meet day-to-day short-term objectives, and resolve issues through immediate action or short-term planning.
Solicit and evaluate proposals employing appropriate negotiation, cost and price analysis techniques, using available expertise from supporting organizations; implement purchase orders following applicable company and government regulations
Ensure lowest possible cost for material, balanced against optimum quality and schedule needs while executing against set strategies
Ensure a process exists to track that material/services will be delivered on schedule, at negotiated price and meet required quality standards
Evaluate current and anticipated requirements, determine potential sources, obtain bids, and plan programs to meet business needs
Provide analysis and support to Sourcing team, as needed, to support Sourcing Strategy and Sourcing and Business needs
Monitor supplier progress for price and delivery.
Provide support for expediting POs, delivery dates, goods receipt, resolution of finance/invoice queries and assist with administration involved in sourcing process such as scanning of POs, Excel database maintenance and purchasing systems queries.
Maintain “timely” control of orders, amendments, shipping notices, and other required documents to assure orderly administration and retention of records
Assist during busy periods with implementing purchase orders (PO’s) and PO management with sound purchasing practices and assure compliant acquisition of material or service that meet applicable contracts (MSA’s), and company and government regulations
Drive effective recovery plans and create payment tracking and invoice analysis, with Finance support, and facilitate removing roadblocks as needed.

Core qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university or college (or a high school diploma/GED).
Very good command of English
Strong oral and written communication skills
Solid interpersonal skills

Nice to have:

Knowledge of the sourcing field (experience in a Sourcing would be additional benefit)
Efficient with Oracle 11.3, SSP 5, and AP systems
Solid quantitative and analytical skills
PC and database proficiency
